We are a family owned IATA accredited travel agency in existence since 1978. It was founded by Kantilal Modi, a widely known and highly respected member of society, and a board member of several social service institutions. We have a proud history, in that we were at the side and service of almost all the progressive anti-Apartheid organisations throughout the country, long before it became politically expedient to do so. We also serviced the travel needs of the ANC during the first historic National Elections in 1994, as well as during the first Local Government Elections in 1995.
As an IATA accredited agent, we have direct access to all travel related services including airlines, cruise liners, car hire companies, ground handlers, transporters, travel insurance companies etc. We have deep knowledge, personal experience and long-standing relationships with most of our suppliers. We also provide visa procurement services and guidance. Simply put, we do everything.
After 41 years in Fordsburg, we moved in 2019 to our own, larger, and more hospitable premises in the leafy suburb of Greenside, on the well-known Barry Hertzog Avenue, just 2km north from Milpark Hospital.
Harvey World Travel
We are the oldest member of the Harvey World Travel group of independently owned travel agencies, which is part of BidTravel, the biggest travel consortium in the country. This enables us to have access to the best deals in the marketplace, due to our size.

We specialise in quality custom designed tours throughout the world to suit every budget and taste. We also design reliable tours within South Africa, for our foreign guests seeking unique experiences, Mzansi style!
We go the extra length to accommodate the special interests and needs of all our travellers, be it vegetarian, vegan, halaal or kosher friendly travel, adventure tours, cruising, private guided tours, coach tours, self-drive vacations, upmarket or rustic style accommodations, game reserves and game drives.
Corporate Travel
We serve the corporate market with prompt and efficient Travel Management Services, and arrange Group, Incentive and MICE tours when required. Having largely focused on servicing the travel needs of small to medium sized businesses, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO’s) and the leisure market, we are particularly attuned to providing the best product at the most cost-effective price. We have arranged such tours to various parts of the world, including an Incentive Group tour to the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2014 on behalf of a very large corporate client.
Ours is a small, very hand-on business by choice, and is 100% BEE Compliant, allowing corporate clients a maximum score on their BEE Ratings. Nonetheless, we are confident of winning your confidence entirely on our own merits. Our over 40-year track record attests to this.
